Welcome to Stagecoach Somerset West, the first Stagecoach school in Africa. Here we provide part-time professional coaching in singing, dance and drama for 4-18 year olds each Saturday morning. Through performing arts, we stretch imaginations and develop potential in young people.
Join us during school term time or at our Holiday workshops, and be part of a global network of over 40,000 Stagecoach children.

Acting, Singing and Dance Classes

Fees: R1,350.00 per term (approx 10 weeks).

Early Stages (for ages 4–7 years)

Early Stages introduces your child to singing, dance and drama in a fun, creative ninety minute session each week. Classes are restricted to fifteen children, who are nurtured by qualified, experienced teachers in a safe and happy environment.

Main School (for ages 7–18 years)

For three hours each week, young people develop their confidence and also improve their skills at singing, dance and drama. These life-long skills are taught by professional teachers in one session under one roof. Meet new friends of like mind at Stagecoach Somerset West.

Autumn term 2012 started with a flourish as demand for classes for 4-7 year olds soared. Stagecoach Somerset West has now opened a second Early Stages school, which also runs on a Saturday morning. Many new pre-schoolers are absolutely thrilled to take part in the singing, dancing, and drama excitement.

Verder kry my dogter op één dag per week, op één plek onderrig in AL DRIE noodsaaklike elemente van die teater, naamlik sang, dans en toneelspel, wat tot gevolg het dat sy in totaliteit afgerond word vir die verhoog teen minder as wat die drie genres ons individueel sou kos!

Quality Training in a Safe Environment

Stagecoach is often copied but never equalled: Stagecoach offers quality training in the three performing arts disciplines: drama, dance and singing - helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and lots of fun. There is no need to find separate singing, acting and dance classes in the Helderberg, when Stagecoach Somerset West offers all three to a high standard under one roof!

All our teachers are Police checked so children and teenagers can work in a safe and protected environment. Fees work out at approx R90 per hour, which offers outstanding value for money for quality performing arts training, small class sizes (15 maximum), assessments, medals, performances, and many other extras that come with the international links through Stagecoach Somerset West.
